Medium/well done for me.

Blood and chips just doesn't go.

Has to be rare mate you wont get blood and chips if you let your steak rest..

same here, one of my briothers has it almost black to a crisp and another likes it almost raw..

Whenver I have been in the company of someone who doesn't like their food cooked there always seems to be a deposit of blood after the 1st cut. Must be the cheap places I go to.

It is, steak should be finish in the oven where most of the juice will come out then rested for a couple of minutes before being served, it should also be medium rare AT MOST!

that is just wrong.........over cooking it like that burns all the juices out of it and may as well be eating shoe leather
