Club: Liverpool (by a mile)

Player: Stan Collymore (by a mile)

Stan Collymore frustrated the life out of me when I used to watch him. He could have been a world-beater and an England legend.

So much ability, so little to show for it at the end.

Hi TT,

I'm alright, I guess.

That's actually a lie. I'm pissed off all the time because the same groin injury is making me fat. I can't play football, I can't go to the gym. Fucking nightmare. My girlfriend is getting annoyed because it's all I talk about.

How are you?

Collymore wasn't the worst.

Fowler was a bigger waste of remarkable talent.

Hi Knots. I enjoy your football musings.

I had considered Fowler in my decision, but despite never winning anything massive, he had silverware and personal honours to back it up...

League Cup (2): 1995, 2001
FA Cup (1): 2001
UEFA Cup (1): 2001
UEFA Super Cup (1): 2001
UEFA European Under-18 Football Championship (1): 1993
PFA Young Player of the Year (2): 1995, 1996
UEFA Fair Play Award (1): 1997
Premier League Player of the Month (2): December 1995, January 1996
PFA Team of the Year (1): 1996

North Queensland Fury Players Player of the Year (1): 2010
North Queensland Fury Golden Boot (1): 2010
Perth Glory Golden Boot (1): 2011

I understand that a lot of these aren't exactly sensational, but it's stuff that Collymore never got close to...

Stan was such a good striker. He was quick, powerful, very strong and was one of the best finishers in the league (Fowler being the best finisher in England during the 90s imo)....

How Liverpool didn't win the league in that decade beggars belief with the talent they had.

I'm sticking with Collymore though.

And Mark Bosnich if we are doing a goalkeeper one.

Liverpool failed because they had a defence that concentrated for 85 minutes.

To illustrate my point, you only need look at the two most successful sides of the nineties, arsenal & united.

Seaman, Dixon, bould, Adams, winterburn.

Schmeichel, Neville, Bruce, pallister, irwin.

Two units that rarely made 2 mistakes in a game.

It isn't his debt.

Substitute the clubs' names for 'you' and 'we'.

Makes you all look less like twats.

I agree, it is quite gay.

It's less the case now as they have a keeper of great quality.

Often they could concentrate for long periods in the 90s & James still fucked it up. To think they had brad friedel.
