I said breaking, not paying. Difference. As in someone that plays for them wants it.

Doesn't matter. Either way, modric has called levys bluff now.

The merry go round regarding players salaries is a serious issue that continues to dog all clubs...
As far back pre Bosman the clubs held all the aces in relation to players contracts and earnings, now of course its turned full circle.

Where does the madness end though?

I mentioned yesterday, the glazers are valuing United at £2.6 billion when they float on the Singapore stick exchange later this year. Means selling 25% will raise them £650 million. Pays the debt off.

At that point, madness could well kick off.

In what way? Modric wants 100k. Either levy caves, or he looks like a twat.

Either way, spuds lose.

You'll be lucky to get £30 million next summer. You couldn't get £40 million this year, & you've lost the champions league revenue. If you don't make top 4 you'll have to sell.

??? knotts youre ignorance knows no bounds today

spurs turned down a 40m last day bid from chelsea which is well documented

now seing as hell still have 4 years on a contract i see 40m easily attainable

and so what about champions league revenue ??????

unlike clubs like yours we dont rely on it

why worry about champions league revenue when we dint suddenley spend more when we go in it

and we havent spent any of our money made last year

god knotts i was told u were intelluigent when it came to football but you obviouslly no very little about other clubs

You're not getting the point, so I'll leave it here.

Modric wants to leave, but will stay if he gets 100k a week.

If he doesn't, he'll start to play like a moody cunt, & if you dont get into the champions league will start making noises about wanting to play there.

At that point, with his contract running down, he becomes a liability. Then his value drops.

Ah yes. If it's in the paper it must be true. So you're saying his basic wage is 250k? Tut tut.

Still, you think bale is worth 60 million, so I'm not surprised.

As for debt, I hope you enjoy it when United don't have any in the very near future.

It isn't his debt.

Substitute the clubs' names for 'you' and 'we'.

Makes you all look less like twats.
