Maybe he was excited as this was the furthest he ever got with a female that was still alive and needed to tell someone..

It's the curse of mobile phones. I still get work emails and calls when I'm away and deal with them. Also have a look here when I'm sitting around doing nothing. Aint these places supposed to be recreational?

My phone provider doesn't charge any extra for using your phone in 16 other countries, Spain and the US being two of them and they are countries I have been to twice each in the past two years.
Roaming charges are vanishing in the EU from 2017 as well, everyone will be able to use data as if they were at home.
