Very kind of you to bring this wonderful thread back mate. You’re right about Midnight Murnan, some player when on song

Shame he is pretty much always off key!

Few weeks ago at Super League Jason Lowe averaged about 58..

He's not bothered since until last night where he won 4-0 in 12,16,17 and 19...

He is back!

Anyone know what that comes to as an average?

93.93

If it’s a win to nil, add the number of darts up and divide by number of legs multiplied by 501, then multiply by 3.

Team Malt 2025 is finally assembled.

Some changes this year but not too many. Some new additions who I grew fond of last year.

Tour Card Holders in ranking order:

Rob Cross
Nathan Aspinall
Ryan Searle
Ritchie Edhouse
Ryan Joyce
Martin Lukeman (NEW)
Mickey Mansell (NEW)
William O'Connor
Connor Scutt
Mario Vandenboegarde
Steve Lennon
Andy Boulton

Being removed from Team Malt this year is Ross Smith. I still hope he does well and he hasn't done much wrong, but I just found myself not really caring if he won or lost compared with the others so it is time to take a year out and see if my support comes back.

Non Tour card holders:
Steve Beaton
Devon Petersen
Scott Baker
Dave Pallett (NEW)
Dragutin Horvat
Jeffrey De Zwaan
Norbert Attard
Adrian Gray (NEW)
Paul Linwood (NEW)
Joe Murnan
Jason Lowe
Ryan Furness

Finally 2 men came very close but the love isn't strong enough to make the squad but I will keep an eye on their success. That is Andrew Gilding and Jim Williams

Last year was a great year for Team Malt with Edhouse's title and a great season for one of my favourites Joyce. 2025 is already off to a cracker with another of my favourites getting his card in Boulton.

Up the boys

Thankfully I don't have to stress over Boulton's challenge tour exploits this year but here is who Team Malt will be supporting this weekend

Scott Baker
Dave Pallett
Jeffrey De Zwaan
Ryan Furness
Adrian Gray
Devon Petersen if he turns up after Modus

Come on the boys

Team Malt weekly update:

TC Holders:
Cross - Humiliating defeat against Nebrida but nobody cares
Aspinall - Positive signs in the scoring phase against Humphries

Non Tour Card Holders:
Challenge Tour prize money - David Pallett £200, Scott Baker £200, Adrian Gray £0, Ryan Furness £200, Jeffrey De Zwaan £675

Modus Muck - Sexy Steve lost in the final to Richie Howson, whilst Devon Petersen lost in the semis to Richie Howson

Overall the CT players are about where I expect them to be, don't really expect much from the first 4 but De Zwaan should be pushing for top 8 in the rankings imo.

P.S. I know nobody's arsed and i will probably give up doing this in 2 weeks time, mainly posting it for myself so I can stay more to date with how the players i'm supporting are doing / what form they're in. Ok thanks.

First trophy of the year for the Team goes to Rob Cross, winning the Dutch Darts Masters 8-5 against Bridesmaid Bunting.

I have always said how prestigious this tournament is, so it's a great start to the season for the boys

2 in two days for the team as Dave Pallett wins the Romanian Classic, it's good to see him back playing some good stuff, a Lakeside danger if he commits to the full circuit.

Might keep a little table updated like below

Titles:

PDC:
25/01/2025 - Dutch Darts Masters - Rob Cross 8-5 Stephen Bunting

WDF:
26/01/2025 - Romanian Classic - Dave Pallett 5-3 Brandon Stow

Other notable achievements:

Congratulations to Scott Baker for qualifying for the UK Open. If he wins it he could get a tour card. I will be keeping a close eye on developments.

Adrian Gray also made a final on the ADC tour whilst Devon Petersen also made a final in the African continental tour (albeit playing crap)

Even on quiet weekends Team Malt gonna grow x

PC1 & 2 this week to look forward to

Rob Cross wins the first PC of the year!

We are on fire! 21 PDC titles is not something too many players can say they've even got close to
