I've been asked to start playing again, Friday nights for a local club side.

Think I'll give it a go, it's something to do through the winter if nothing else.

Serious practice required first though, it's been a long time.

I went back in after a 10+ year break. Never got back to my previous standard but won most games and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Won a little round robin comp last night in Dunstable. Beat my mate who plays county for Bedfordshire in the final, nice not having really played much this year.

Started practising, it's not been good so far but it's been a while.
Struggling to let them go which doesn't help, hey ho.

Are you talking about the darts or the farts?

All fun and games, I tend to just stop playing for a bit if that happens. Every time I get back to throwing a decent 80+ it seems to kick back in  hence not playing for teams anymore.

Tonight's the night.

After the best part of two years I'm back playing.
Absolute zero expectations just going out to enjoy it regardless if I play 4s pairs or singles.
Whatever will be will be.and, just to piss off those who are no longer on here, there'll be a full report on the spread tomorrow.

OK thanks.

An 11-10 loss last night and yours truly played in the 4 a side and pairs, fair to say there is room for improvement but after two years without playing it could have been a lot worse.

The spread was a cracker, a very hot chilli con carne with garlic bread so expecting things to kick off elsewhere before too long.

Got dragged into super league last night but played sober after getting back from a stag on Thursday night!

Lost 4-3 with a 76 average. Could’ve gone either way and I bottled it at the end from 3-2 up. Ho hum.

Didn't play last Friday due to a prior commitment and we lost 14-7, no match this week.

All we ask for is consistency, or something.
