So the darts AGM was recently and the divisions and fixtures have been confirmed. We've gone from 3 divisions for 4 which is great however, to keep things balanced only one team got promoted to the Premier so we are still in division 1 which is very annoying. Local derby wise though it's good as our B team got promoted so that's one to look forward to.
Season starts next week, lets go

Team won 7-6 but should have been much more. I missed 4 darts at the doubles and my partner another 6 in the pairs, I missed a dart at the double in the 8's but oddly hit it first time in the singles (though hitting T9 going for S14 was not good; S3 D12 made up for it though) and the whole team missed countless doubles all night (took 24 darts to win from 130 in the 8's, 18 of them after I missed a dart at tops)
A wins a win though and you only get 2 points regardless so a winning start in the main thing

I am signed on for a new side ( after a summer away from the Oche......cue the jokes) and we start on the 23rd, there's already talk of the team having too many players signed on though !!!!
There may be trouble ahead.

Depends whether it's a serious or piss up side mate.

Wasn't supposed to be serious, but it might be now

Pity mate. I played (kind of) for a piss up side and we actually won the league because we didn't give a shit. Next season a load of "Serious" players signed up and us piss heads let them have it.

Another 9-4 win, this time against the clubs B side to maintain our 100% start to the season (always nice to beat local rivals)
I've also maintained my unbeaten start in the singles

Opposition cancelled so we're awarded an 8-0 win. Not the way I'd have liked to maintain the 100% record but I'll take it nonetheless

Never nice to win that way Grazer but as you say, you'll have to take it.

1st plays 3rd (our B side) and 2nd (us) plays 4th in tonight's fixtures. Means the top 2 have a chance of putting a gap of 4 points between them and the rest of the division, with the 2 teams to play each other in the last game of the first and first game of the second half of the season. Still early days but that would be a nice cushion to have, got to get the win first.
