Taylor beat Wade in the finals of the 2006, 2008, 2011 and 2012 Matchplay events and the semi final of the 2013 version. Wade finally beat Taylor in the semi-final of the 2015 version, but then came up against peak MVG in the final.
Harrington could have well have won in 1995 and beaten Priestley in 1998.
Warriner would have had a decent chance in 1999 and 2000 also.

This was the year he was blackmailed. He was terrible for 80% of the PL but won like five games in a row at the end and generally played very well the rest of that year.Rogg wrote: ↑Sat Jul 13, 2024 9:26 amYou could nevertheless see the daze and despair in his eyes knowing that the beast would be waiting for him at the end.sennafan24 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2024 11:06 pmBarney played exceptionally throughout that tournament.

Rat may have been enjoying the peace and quiet of the plague edition. Rats and plagues are known friends. What happened to him next?
