I used to be like that.

Don't bother watching any Pro Tour or Euro Tour, and I find myself caring less and less about the Majors as a result.

Hardly watching anything this year

It cannot help when all the events of interest are loaded at the end of the year
All the pl and ws being exactly the same games doesn't help
The changes to the euro tour seem designed to facilitate more of the same
Pre Blackpool I just don't care

Yeah I think watching the pro tours and stuff keeps you more invested in the majors personally. If you only watch tv you’re subjected to the same 16 or so players every tournament, at least with pro tour streams I will probably end up seeing all 128 tour card holders at some point no matter how well they’re playing, it keeps it refreshing for me. A random 1st round pro tour game between Rhys Griffin and Geert Nentjes is watchable to me because it has a level of meaning to them 2 players, it’s ranking money in the pocket and could be the start of a run of form. There’s always a narrative

I don't really watch Pro Tour anymore because the bastard PDC took down the stream! Can't be arsed to look for them all the time.

I enjoy the UK Open and I will watch the final night of the PL.

The Seniors at the Tavern is also good for a laugh.

But otherwise agreed.

August and September are dull too.

I paid for the yearly pass in order to get access to the worlds tickets later in the year, I honestly think it’s value

They still need to sort out the bullshit with the bots that happened with the ticketing for the Matchplay because it’ll be even worse at the World’s

The only way to get tickets now is to sign up to PDC TV for the pre-pre sale, especially if you want more than a couple.

Or go VIP, we paid £500 each for a table of 10 one year. Was decent but probably not worth it.

I’ve been a member since 2018 (I think? Maybe 2017?)
Was ridiculous trying to get tickets this year for it

Considered VIP but as you say, I personally don’t think it’s worth it

It's probably a £200 day if you're drinking a fair amount and eating from the stalls, so yeah you're paying £300 for table service and for a sit down meal (who the fuck wants that on the beer!). Decent seats I suppose. None of us were up for doing it the next year and last year it was £600 per person!

Not really. I already have access to all the TV and Euro Tour events so paying the yearly fee just to watch Pro Tours is not worth it, as my interest is limited in them. There is Modus, WDF, etc. available for free.

Don’t think I’d spend £200 on beer, the hangovers aren’t worth it anymore 😂

I watch the pdc events, main OoM & pro tour.
sometimes I'll wander away and be doing other stuff, but the stream usually stays on, so when I wander back I can see what's been going on.

I like to catch the 1st four matches of the PL, but don't often finish after that.

don't watch the women's or the old folk stuff.
don't think I've ever seen modus and don't understand how it works, especially why they have odd groups? (6 + 3 + 3)

I'm lucky because since I'm usually 5 hours behind in my time zone, I can watch the pdc stuff and still have my evenings free.

I watch the CDC stuff to keep me from getting uppity for when an american is invited into the big pdc tournies. I try to to mask it by by typing USA! USA! USA! and putting on a brave face and whatnot, but the wall eventually always wins the battles against my head, however, I know enough to keep an ice pack handy to counteract the swelling. I'm not stupid. never had to repair the wall.
(yet!
USA! USA! USA!
ouch!)

Not watched any premier league, was never really into it but the format change finished off any interest. Might watch the final night. Watch all majors/ tv events, will pay for a euro tour stream if im not working/ busy.

No interest in senior darts or world series events or pro tour streaming, darts in a cubicle does nothing for me. Look out for womens series results. Might watch modus if at a really loose end.

Will watch lakeside religiously obviously.
