How much darts do you watch in 2024?

Inspired by Randall posting that he doesn't watch darts on TV these days.

My darts viewing habits in 2024:

I try and watch all PDC Premier Events with the exceptions of the PL regular fixtures, most of the World Cup, and some sessions of the GSOD. I am also fine with missing sessions of the Masters and the World Series Finals.

I tend not to watch Euro Tour events or World Series Support events. I do occasionally follow the Pro Tour on Darts Connect. I usually just read the results of those events on here.

Outside of the PDC, I only watch Lakeside and the Seniors World Championship.

I just go along with the PDC's definition of Premier events, then pick and choose which Premier events I consider to be majors.

I watch everything, i'm still relatively new to darts compared to most on here which is probably why. It's also so accessible now, and there's a multitude of players I like at different levels of the game which keep it engaging for me. If i'm at home and darts is on in whatever capacity i'll stick it on

I am still a bit disappointed when I miss sessions of the Worlds, UK Open, Matchplay and to a lesser extent the GP.

So yeah, they are the most important to me too.

Can't be arsed with the Worlds these days. I will watch the last stages but the first week just doesn't interest me much.
Will check the results now and again though.

Pretty much everything only thing I havnt really watched so far this year is the PL I've only watched a whole night of it 4 times.

I dont watch Modus maybe the odd final if the PDC has finished its session.

I love the Euro Tour I personally think it can be better than some of the TV events.

The PCs I like aswell but you spend most of the day on Darts connect until the QFs onwards.

Totally agree SAFC on the Euro Tour. I think it is the one I watch the most these days. Love that it is not in the UK and has developed to visit new countries, it's short format, now excellent coverage with viaplay.
I think it will grow to be the spine of the PDC calendar. If it isn't already.
The only improvement needed is to cut the amount of German events. But as it is ran by PDC Europe (Germany) I don't see it happening in the near future.

I watch just about anything that is on darts wise, but always watch the pdc events in some form

Actually been watching the Prem and World Series events regularly for the first time in ages (the Littler effect affects more than just new fans!), but I've definitely watched less of the ProTour and Euro Tour this season. Obviously the move to weekday ProTours would limit what I can watch anyway, but Goldenarrows was my go-to stream for the Euro Tour, and I'm not savvy enough to find a reliable stream elsewhere lol, though I have still been following the live scores as they come in

I was abroad over Xmas so I only watched some of the matches live, but I still found a way to watch most of the games, whether it was waking up at 3 and going back to bed at 7 for the big games, or waking up and hoping someone had put the games on YouTube, I feel PDC TV should do a better job of making the sessions available on catchup

- Extremely little of the PL, maybe 4 or 5 games max in 2024. Might watch the playoffs.

- Watched the entire UK Open

- Only watched the Dutch World Series. Intend to miss all of the upcoming ones until the Finals

- Watch every Euro Tour Friday without fail. Watch every Saturday/Sunday afternoon until my players are eliminated. Never watch Sunday evening.

- Every floor event regardless of the outcome, except for some finals with lineups that bore me.

- Keep an eye on Modus, always watching Group B. Watch Saturday Nights every now and again.

But all in all, a lot less than I was last year.

Littler hasn't really impacted my viewing habits.

But the PL TV ratings this year suggest that he is convincing people to watch who otherwise would not bother.

Only the pdc except lakeside and some of the seniors for a laugh, i don't watch every pdc floor event but all of the tv majors and a lot of the spectacular European tours, i skip at least 90% of the world series events.

Beautiful beau and noa have made my interest in the improving womens game, i do watch a bit of that each event.
