Yeah, that is possible.KingBinglin wrote: ↑Wed Jan 03, 2024 11:16 pmChanging of the guard in the sense that Smith and Price will fall back. Think Wright is done, will have his moments but not top 16 player on consistency. MVG will be MVG. Competition, as ever, in the PDC grows which is only going to be a good thing.sennafan24 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 03, 2024 11:08 pm Will this tournament signify a changing of the guard somewhat.
Will Humphries and perhaps Littler put the current big 4 (Smith, MVG, Wright, Price) in the shade?

Worthy champion
I wanted Littler to win.
But I don't begrudge Humph.

I really enjoyed the tournament overall.
There didn't seem to be as much dross in the earlier stages and there were some exceptional games/performances in the latter stages.

It will be interesting to see how Hump reacts to being champion, but Belly, MvG, Krusty, Asp and Ferret are not playing well enough to challenge him at the moment..
Cross is the only one playing well

The semi-finals weren't great, in truth, but most of it from the last 16 onwards was a very good watch.sennafan24 wrote:I really enjoyed the tournament overall.

I'm pretty clueless about his F1 career in the 70s. Hence why I bought the book.
