Was that same year or maybe 2016 when Gando played Noppert in last 16 with Noppy still representing BDO family

Noppy barely missed a double all game it was fantastic Gando only won narrowly in a great contest

Yes they were outclassed in last 16 but still some brave displays. Hughes topped a group with Chizzy and Wade in it. Noppert beat Mensur. Fitton beat D.Webster and White. J.Smith beat Whitlock

Slam lost a lot of its appeal when the BDO folded/faded completely.
