This

The final should be at least best of 11
Its pretty much equivalent to Matchplay and Slam format as it is

We might just be bummed out because most of the finals in recent memory have been one sided

So maybe they didnt always handle pressure well but their darting ability was outstanding

CWS spot on there

For all the moaning about BDO you would think surely they would never get into a Slam final let alone win one

There's a reason why it only happened once.

Any reason why u prefer European and PCF over the Slam ?
Slam lost a lot of its appeal when the BDO folded/faded completely.

Thought he was going to be good at one point.
2018 I think he qualified for all of the majors and was solid but not spectacular in 2019, Covid totally killed him.

You could say the same for the following-

Durrant- physically and mentally, totally shot and not even good enough to play in Modus now

Ian White- recovering a bit now but will never be as good again as 2016-19

William O'Connor- looked a cert to make all of the majors but got put back 2 or 3 years in progress

Suljovic- decided to stop playing completely and bombed down the rankings

Jamie Hughes- statistically amazing in 2019 and, combined with an injury and choking tendencies, has fell apart since
