Probably going to have to beat Mensur and Wright
Over best of 19 maybe mensur, especially if he freezes again
31 against Wright is a big ask
Very true, but if she gets past Mensur (very possible), neither Wright or De Sousa have been on top form recently. If she plays her best and they don't it is a coin flip. Although like you say 31 legs is a big ask.
I feel like both Wright and De Sousa are capable of messing it up if Fallon can keep them under pressure by not letting them get an early lead in the quarters, if she beats Suljovic first.

According to the Tour Card Race, it can be summarized as this:
If Sherrock reaches the final she's got it.
If she reaches the semi-final, she's got 47.5k with a first round loss at the Worlds. I think it's going to be super close this way. She may be the 65th player that gets a TC when Gary quits the tour for example (which I think he may).
If she reaches the quarters, she would need to reach the third round at the Worlds for 45k. Again this would be super close.
If she loses to Suljovic tomorrow, a fourth round exit at the Worlds is also 45k.

So she probably needs to win three if not four matches more in this GS and the Worlds total.
Is that taking into account what those above her may do though?

She has never played a best of 31 I'm sure
Against mvg she was great for 10 legs then fell away badly
I wouldn't rule it out though

People forget Fallon played a Lakeside final. She'll be fine.
The truth, however ugly in itself, is always curious and beautiful to seekers after it.

Do you think the winner of

DPA
EADC
Nordic and Baltic
Asian Tour

Should all get a card aswell ?
Wouldn't be so bad.

I can understand that some people say that the World Series is there to serve this purpose of marketing the sports around the world, but a 2-year tour card would open up many more opportunities of some of those players emerging. A lot of good players don't even go to Q-School because they don't know if they will get a TC and have to move over to Europe to play in all these events all of a sudden if they do. If they know in advance that they're going to get two years of playing with the best, it should only be a matter of time before you have a Japanese or American superstar that can compete in a sport where many players are from the UK and most others are from mainland Europe.

There's no method of finding out exactly how much money you need to get Top 64.
I think it's almost certainly going to be above 45k because you still have PCF in between this and the Worlds as well. 47.5k may or may not be enough. 50k probably will.

So it's gotta be semifinal here and it's a coinflip with a first round loss at the Worlds, or win four matches total if she doesn't reach the semi-finals.

I take it that everyone who votes "No" also thinks it's bollocks that Jimmy White and Ken Doherty get to play snooker on the pro tour because they are legends giving expert commentary and such things without playing in their respective Q School.

Don’t give a shit about Snooker but if I flip it I think it would be bollocks if legends of darts were given free tour cards over players paying 500 quid for the slim chance of getting through Q school, there’s enough evidence to show age isn’t a huge factor in darts as there’s a lot of older players who can still play at a high level so even a legend should go to Q school if they want to get back on tour If they wish to

Has she ever played a best of 31 game? Averaging over a ton in a best of 9 game is fantastic, and clearly she's got game because she backed it up against Clemens (and didn't play that badly against Wright really), but it doesn't give any indication that she'll do the same in a best of 31 game

The winner of the Nordic/Baltic circuit (or whatever it was called back then) used to get a tour card, which on the face of it is fair enough, it's a decent enough standard, but it kind of backfired when Kim Viljanen never turned up lol, and if a Finnish guy couldn't be arsed, there's every chance a Yank or an Aussie won't be neither

That hasn't always been the case. 2011-2014 Lakeside semi finalists were offered PDC Tour cards on a plate. Only Hankey in 2012 and Bunting in 2014 accepted. Bunting is still on the PDC Tour, having never needed to go to Q School.

I know the floor and the stage are very different, but still, I think we'd all agree that Sherrock would be far more interesting on tour than some smelly jobber from Wolverhampton coming through Q-School. Still, I'd be a uncomfortable with them just handing her a tour card, even if they did so based on winning the Women's Series
