I think most players do from time to time. I usually end up dragging people down to my level. If you know you don't have to play that well to win, chances are you won't play that well. It's odd

My problem is if my opponent hits a 100, 8 times out of ten I respond in kind.
When he hits a 41/45, without fail I will hit 26, 21, 7, 5 in my attempt to keep a straight line and have all three darts in the 20.
Even if I do play well and get to a double miles in front, I will completely undermine myself by failing miserably to hit a double...

I think someone once posted on here that a prime Duzza could have dragged Taylor down or something.
