The stand out memories for me are the Taylor v part finals, probably as good as Taylor ever played.
Also the year Lewis beat Taylor in the semi the night after a breathtaking Taylor/Gando game.

Thornton the main man winning in 2015, what a glorious night.
One of the best finals I've ever seen as well.
Still the only man to beat MVG in a ranked TV final for the last 3 years
The truth, however ugly in itself, is always curious and beautiful to seekers after it.

The 9 darters by Thornton and Wade come to mind.
They're all here!

Don't remember seeing it at the time, plus the other two were
in the same match and I can't stand Dolan.

Met him once, seemed a decent enough chap to be fair.
Not one I care to see play though.

He's dined out on that 9 dart for far too long.

Plus he does that mongy mouth thing when he lobs his darts.

In a few minutes at a hotel lobby and in the lift it didn't really seem appropriate!

First one I watched (2010). Ferrypot thought he was the shit, and Wade battered him without even trying......remember them arguing during the trophy presentation.

Yet another event where wade needed someone else to beat Taylor for him and then pick up the pieces.

I think a lot is made of that, but the reality is Wade's 'peak' years coincided with Taylor's. Phil's normal average in the late 2000's was typically 106-109 and Wade was never gonna compete with that.
