Most extravagant item.

Post by Dartfrog » Thu Jun 30, 2011 4:14 pm

Other from the obvious ie house, car or holiday etc what's the most expensive one off item you've ever purchased, something you didn't really need but bought anyway...
3D tv?, tailored suit?, piece of art work?.....

I suppose so, although i really meant the most expensive item you've bought for yourself.
Have you worn the dress since?

Not after I pissed on it mate.

I remember years ago buying a camcorder thinking I really wanted one. Having isn't quite the same as wanting is it.

It's a bastard when you mistake the wardrobe for the toilet isn't it.

It's events like pissing on your wife's wedding dress that really bring couples together.

So in reality doing a wee on the dress actually didn't help.

I buy a lot of weird shit on a whim...providing I have the readies available.

I have bought suits, I have never worn.I got a guy to make me a heraldic shield full size with my family crest on it.
Power tools I gave away,.I bought a silver bangle about 20 years ago cost me over a hundred quid at the time, lot of money then for a bracelet,Remember my girlfriend thinking i was insane and wasting money...fuck her, she is gone and I still got that bracelet and still wear it every day since.
At around the same time 20 years ago bought a pair of hand stitched cowboy boots, still got them too.I bought weird shit all my life, plasma balls and lava lamps..before they came back in to fashion.
