Reading a cracking autobiography at the moment on him.
Shameful the way he was treated post Bodyline by the MCC brigade, hung out to dry he was.

did they not just ask him and jardine to apologise? not aware of any other measures?

If I read it right Jardine was adamant he played legitimate leg theory at the time.
When you actually feel anger over a place like this it's time to get a life

leg theory is still used very rarely now if a team has gone ultra defensive. seen spinners bowling every ball out there to stifle scoring.

it was the short pitching that was the new variant of it.

be interested to know what other measures you have read about wolf?
