European Draw today.
Will be able to find out the fate of both England and Irelands groups today at 5pm.
How far do you think they will get? I await the media shit storm should England fail to get out the group but given the right draw they definately have the quality to go as far as they'd like, it's whether they are up for it.
Ireland will need a bit of luck with a decent group but no reason why they couldn't make it to the knockout stages.

Both will be lucky to get out the group stages.
Englands chances rely heavily on whether Capello will put faith in the youngsters or stick with the old guard which will surely be their final tournament.
As for Ireland, on paper they should fail to win a game but they do throw up a few surprises at large tornaments.
For me Ireland will not make it out the group and England will scrape through to the quarters.

Jones will definately be in the team i feel Dandy, can see him sticking with much of the established though but he should have learnt alot from the world cup.
As far as ireland goes it really is down to a favorable draw, if they get one of the hosts you never know.

Re: European Draw today.
They have done this for a while now, the hosts getting a nightmare draw might kill off interest domestically so it is done to try and avoid that as much as possible. Austria and the Swiss were "top seeds" last time.Darth Randall wrote:having the hosts seeded in pot one is pretty silly?
Then again, the rest of the pots are hardly full of lightweights, one or two notable exceptions (england etc...)
Big changes on the way ! We've heard it before but it's different this time !!!! , I believe Bdo gonna grow x

been doing it for a while or not still strikes me as silly.
they have qualified as hosts as well i presume.
shall we just give them the trophy and fuck the tournament off altogether?

Aye, being top seeds worked out well for the Swiss and Austria last time around, didnt it?Darth Randall wrote:been doing it for a while or not still strikes me as silly.
