So much for the "greatest league in the world"

Only 4 players from the Premier League make the list & only 1 Englishman, what does that say about the standard of the English national team?

English national team, over hyped, over paid and over rated
When you actually feel anger over a place like this it's time to get a life

At a guess the leagues flooded with foreign imports that stifles the development of English players.....

only 4 players from the PL though, this must be a record low

in years gone by plenty of players from Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal & Liverpool have made up the list

Absolutely, & the world XI will probably be the Barcelona team & maybe Ronaldo but quite surprised there's no nominees for the likes of Modric or Bale who both had really good seasons

Oh & Van Persie

Yeah i'd agree, abit only slightly...a 2 horse race is pretty much a 3/4 horse race in the English league....

I would agree when it comes to who can win the title, but outside the top 2 in La Liga it is very competative & it's very hard to call the top 8 in La Liga wheras in England you know who will be in the European places

I'd say the German league is probably the most competative & entertaining for the title

least scotland has changed its ways. the premiership is a joke, its also in a massive debt bubble thats gonna send loads of clubs down the shitter. theres only so long you can sustain the massive debts some of these clubs have.

A genuine brilliant manager, has won silverware, and his transfer dealings as good as any manager on the planet in buying world class stars for pittance and turning a huge profit.

His recent years have been barren but show me a recent liverpool manager who would come close to matching his achievements.
