If she switches she will have to put a huge amount of effort in to probably not get the same financial reward, and if as is likely she were to not retain her card for all that effort I could forsee her falling out of love with the game.

I dont think theres any chance she can achieve real success by breaking into the top 32, so why take such an awful risk when it could do such damage to you both financially and to your enjoyment.

In what other way could it have benefited her? Winning against trash was never going to make her a better player.
