Why is Dimitri unpopular?

Ive noticed a lot of negativity towards him on social media and I dont get it. Hes a happy go lucky and outgoing kina guy. Always with a cheshire cat smile on his face. He grafts to. A hard worker

I dont get what there is to dislike.

Why? I think he sometimes comes across as fake humble, and the whole "Dancing Dimitri" phase. Didn't he have a bit of a spat with Peter Wright over this around the time of Wright's dominant 2021 World Matchplay win, when Dimitri was the defending champion, and Wright was just all business? Dimitri had lived at Wright's place during the original Covid lockdown in 2020.
