Bet this guy can't even remember all the drugs and whores he enjoyed in Japan and elsewhere during his heyday, wild times in that era.

Yakuza was crazy in the 2000s.
Heavily involved in MMA.

Re: The Bas Rutten thread
A group so heavily deplored that the outing of their involvement immediately sank PRIDE.
They're definitely not involved in RIZEN

On the subject of Bas in the mid 2000's he did some kind of seminar one of my colleagues went along to and as a laugh when they had finished and were doing pictures he talked Bas into giving him a liver shot. Bas proceded to give him a liver shot at an estimated 30% of his power and had the lad off work for a week. I wish I could find the grainy Sony Ericcson video footage to this day

I re-read articles about the Pride/Yakuza scandal a few months back. I forgot that what sunk Pride was Fedor/Cro Cop's former agent turning informant, which led to the feds demanding that the TV station take them off the air. Like many, I often remember it as the magazine articles about the Yakuza's involvement, which were published in the spring of 2006; sinking them.
And aye, Sakibara is Yakuza for life from what I've read.
