Fuck all chance of winning a card sadly.

Kovacs is chickening out of PDC events to play WDF jamborees and he's a career choker.

Szekely is finished with his old age and injuries not that he was ever good in the first place.

I will still be supporting them of course.

At this point we just have to hope the next generation will amount to something decent.

+1

Time for Harrysson to stop bottling it at Q school also.
Team Corvid 2025 consists of the following 12 players.

Clayton, Littler, Gilding, De Sousa, Wright, Evans, Campbell, Scutt, Lauby, Rob Owen, Patrick Geeraets and Justin Hood.

Team Malt jobber members i'd like to see win a card in order of realism atm

Connor Scutt (probably will win one via CT anyway)
Andy Boulton
Boris Koltsov
Dragutin Horvat
Scott Baker
Adrian Gray
Devon Petersen
Joe Murnan

I actually think half of them won't even turn up

Other players i'd like to see on tour next year
Andreas Harrysson
John Henderson
Fallon Sherrock
John O'Shea
James Wilson

I think Jimmy van Schie is a banker, and on very recent form van Velzen should get through Europe too.

The 'big name' players I expect to flop are Darryl Pilgrim, Danny Jansen and Ted Evetts

Will look at this again when people lose their tour cards

My wish would be for a Maltese player to give it a go

I wouldn't have Darryl Pilgrim down as a player that will flop, He has more than enough experience in PDC events and in playing Q-School so knows what he needs to do and his time playing Modus events and navigating his way through to finals nights will show at Q-School, Bookies will probably have him at very short odds to win a tour card.

The reason them 3 are in my flop list is because they all have the ability to win tour cards. The reason I don't think Pilgrim will is because there's been quite a lot of evidence already of him choking in key moments in matches. He's clearly very talented based on his monster average matches but there's been a lot of times he's completely bottled it.

Jansen is way too inconsistent for me, just needs Q School to fall on a weekend he's averaging in the 90s and not 70s.

Evetts is another one who has the game to be on tour but I just don't think he will succeed.

Pilgrim could also just go through a day battering everyone and win a card on day 1 and that wouldn't shock me either though, just don't think he will

Similar post to Malt's above

Only member of Team DFR currently cardless and possible to play is Lethal Biscuit. Obviously I will throw my entire support behind Lee Shewan if he makes a glorious appearance, but it seems unlikely.

Other players I'd like to see make it and there are many

Wesley Plaisier
Christian Kist
Jimmy van Schie
Gilbert van der Meijden
Chas Barstow
MBF Hudson
Shaun McDonald (if he played it)
Justin Hood
Tom Sykes
John Henderson
Darryl Pilgrim
Darren Webster
Scott Waites
Scott Baker
Andy Davidson
Ryan Murray
Andreas Harrysson
Johan Engstrom
Darius Labanauskas
Krzysztof Kciuk
Vitezlav Sedlak
Raymond Smith (barring a miraculous turnaround)
Ben Robb

Agreed on Pilgrim, think he needs to have a sustained period of good play or a Baetens/Cadby-esque blowout day to make it happen. If he got on tour, then I could see him following a similar path to Cameron Menzies. But he won't next year and he has serious choker tendencies that need properly ironed out.

I see Ted Evetts making it though. He's done it a few times before and he seems the type to just clog up the OOM but not win a day outright, kinda like Mario Vandenbogaerde has done twice.

Jansen, will be back through a feeder tour or at some point. I don't think he would be as bothered as the other two but I could see him being the kind to scrape through in last place.

I am surprised Pilgrim has not won a card already with his talent and ability but I think the last couple of years he has learnt a lot, When I played him I noticed how chilled out and calm he was beforehand and he watches everything going on around him between games, Thing I like the most about his game is that he is very cleaver at keeping his arm loose with the way he walks back from the board after retrieving his darts and shakes his arm out as he is walking and also throws ghost darts when stood waiting behind players to throw to keep his arm loose as well...Very cleaver player indeed.
