Fuck off. I like senna's HP posts, it's different from the usual, brings some new colours to the gray, boring days here.

Let's say Formula 1 cars matter a lot but that's also because you have the worlds best drivers there. In a school quidditch game the skill gaps are bigger so you can beat someone with inferior equipment.
I agree it's not entirely fair but this is similar to real life. It's clear Hogwarts doesn't have a lot of money since the school brooms are described as useless. The game would be pointless if everyone had to play on those.

True that. If they all had Nimbus 2000s it would be pretty boring.

True. My dream team would be using the Thunderbolt VII. With 'go faster stripes' on the shaft.

I think in the Hogwarts quidditch league it's the overall points that count, not winning or losing. So if you are 200 points down it's still the best option to catch the snitch because if your opponent catches it you are in a much worse situation due to the point difference. Of course this wouldn't apply to a knockout tournament such as the World Cup.

Always catch the golden snitch. Don't fanny about with quaffle hooping.

Well only if you are the seeker. Otherwise you would be committing a foul (Snitchnip)
