Why all the hate for Phil Taylor? It's the same on my facebook feed, a fair few slagging him off.

I'm not a fan of darts so know nothing about his personality or background, tho I did watch tonights final for the first time in years. He seemed like an ok bloke from what I saw of him being interviewed.

Adams knows which side his bread is buttered and he is staying put.
He spent years, competing against Lowe, Bristow, Taylor and Barney at the BDO and has only really enjoyed success in the last few years. As the number One player at the BDO, he now makes a lot of money playing promotional events around the country.
The top three players are Taylor, Barney and Wolfie and its just a shame they are not competing regularly against each other.

Facing the sack after telling a couple of racist gags on stage and not realising he was being filmed. Long overdue in my book in my time at SCR probably one of the nastiest people I ever met and interviewed.

The first time I went [to bdo worlds] which was 1999, we likened it a 1,200 strong BNP meeting, the majority smoking and almost all pissed up.

Fitzmaurice actually told the London gag as we were setting up a radio interview for SCR, but the recorder wasnt switched on at that time.

Trouble in the paradise of darts wiki? I was looking for the ET page for this weekend and there isn't one but found this. Ffs.

This has been going on a while

There was an edit war going on throughout the worlds in December because of one editor taking issue with the majority of the sources being the pdc and there being a lack of "independent" sources. Like, the pdc run the events so of course the sources for the draw, the prize money, the results, are largely going to be pdc.

Arguments went on all month over it.

It's just a handful of editors being a pain in the ass and countering the work being done by many.

The worlds was a nightmare. One/two editors coming in, why do you do it like this, why don't you do it like that.

Like do one and f off back to editing Miley Cyrus pages.

Should add. This will be the 4th European tour event this year with no wiki page.

Last year every event had one.

A handful of anal editors basically put contributors off even bothering
