There wasn't too much of a fuss in tennis in the mid-late 1970s when Richard Raskind transitioned and became Renée Richards. The worst that the bigots did back then was laugh at the notion of a man becoming a woman. Nowadays, they'd be saying "A disgrace! A man playing in a women's event" and start all the dehumanizing, lack of empathy agitation.
Dehumanising Noa would be making transphobic comments towards Noa
Last thing I’m going to say is that I have no problem with Noa, not in the slightest or any person who is Trans
I simply don't agree that Noa should be allowed to play in the Women’s Events
This headline is most certainly NOT out of concern with women's sports (as if the Daily Mail gives a shit), but about sowing division in society, whipping up hate. This is done in an attempt to stop people noticing how the super rich are still ripping us off massively.
Most people who live in the real world, expressing real opinion not pseudo intelligent lefty poppycock.Jimmi wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 11:32 pmI think this is how most people feel about the whole thingRandall wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 7:16 pmA perfectly reasonable positionJimmi wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 7:12 pmNo internet in the 1970’s, so less bigots and social spaces for people to air such horrible views on people who don’t feel comfortable in their own skinPT13 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 7:02 pmIt doesn't stop there, and you know it. Not everyone is a massive cunt on the Internet
Of course. But at the same time you can argue Noa isn't doing the same for women who are playing in the events.PT13 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 5:13 pmThe argument is never forget empathy with other human beings, while the bigots are busy dehumanizing their targets and seemingly not caring about the hate that their targets receive. When we point this out, they squeal about how unfair the left is, while never focusing their hate on the real targets, i.e. the big business profiteers and the capitalist system.
If they wasn't concerned about it they wouldn't have put this out. If people (on the right) are truly sexist then biological women playing less sport will be more of a benefit for them and their views.PT13 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2024 12:07 amThis headline is most certainly NOT out of concern with women's sports (as if the Daily Mail gives a shit), but about sowing division in society, whipping up hate. Yes, it almost certainly is. But that doesn't change the fact that scientific evidence shows that biological men have certain genetic advantages over women in many sports and games, which renders their inclusion in them unfair for biological women.PT13 wrote:This headline is most certainly NOT out of concern with women's sports (as if the Daily Mail gives a shit), but about sowing division in society, whipping up hate.
