Let's just hope he gets in that position very soon.
You not a fan anymore?
WTF, 'anymore'?
You were calling him the goat so I assumed you liked him.
I suggest you assume less.
Besides, we all know Phil is the GOAT.
We all know what happens when you assume

Like him or not, he has been the best player at most all the events but has found someone to lose too.
The double in format surely plays into his hands as well
MVG and Wright still have to be the favs, both can beat most guys with their B+ game. I'd have Durrant third favourite right now though.

Certainly one of the favourites. Gurney on d16 is always a good starter and normally does well in this. 1st round is always a minefield. Depends who the qualifiers are
Gurney hasn't really looked at it all year
Mvg is awful
Gando and wright are very up and down
Smith is smith

Beyond aspinall I don't see any other form players.
Dimi?

In all seriousness, I think Dimi will kick on now he's won a proper title, but even if he doesn't, he still has that to fall back on

Personally still think JDZ and Humphries have more potential than DVDB but know one can take that title away from him

Still think JdZ is the cream of the crop of the 'new generation', did some good stuff before this season where he's succumbed to injuries. Humphries is an interesting one, easy to forget he's basically only been on tour for two and a bit years, yet he's already got to the fringes of the top 32, distorted a bit through the two Worlds quarters, but that shouldn't detract from the fact that it's been an impressive start to his career

Half as big again as vhs cassettes was trouble enough but being top loaded wasn't exactly unit friendly
