Correct most are under immense pressure.
You can't really say until they have had a while on the tour.
a future pl winner was shaking like a leaf at it by all accounts. (duzza!) he may be an extreme example but sometimes the interview is much scarier than the job.

Some quotes here from Long, Lipscombe and Czerwinski. https://www.pdc.tv/news/2025/01/12/long ... -confirmed

Lipscombe says he'd driven back to Portsmouth after stage 1 and was in his living room when he got the call to come back.

Does Kim get along with Henderyck or will he need to thump him into a hedge?

Exactly these stats are also essentially pointless as most players will coast if they drawn against someone who isn’t troubling them. It pretty hard to play your top standard when not being pushed.

They will all be reliable in hitting a good number of 6 visits or less legs otherwise they wouldn’t come close to winning cards.

Kanik is back on tour for him to insult/bully/abuse again also. At least West is no longer on tour to do the same.

2019 BDO allowed players to leave without sanction but age went down.
2020 Was the BDO exodus as it failed.
2021 Was the COVID year where players went PDC because it guaranteed darts.

Steve West claimed years ago that the only reason he lost against Kanik on the floor was because he stank

Yep and Kim openly mocked Kanik both in person in the room and online. A truly vile thing to do to someone.
