It all depends how old you are. I could ask mates of mine who hate darts and I know some will have heard of Adams, I can guarantee none will know who Mardle is.

It depends how old people are. I assume people who switch darts on are darts fans. You will get a few extra who tune into the PDC worlds, but if they have any passing interest in darts, they are bound to know who Adams is. There will many casuals who occasionally dip into the darts that may know Mardles voice but probably don’t know his name.
