Give it 5 years and the figures should be close to parity

Digital TV's one thing but Sky Sports is a subscription package and not available through freeview. This is why I think free to air will probably always get higher viewing figures

Of course it will, that goes without saying. The reach for FTA is 100% but for Sky it is around 20%. But by 2016 that 20% will be considerably higher.

Yes Sky subscriptions will grow as has happened over the years. However, I do feel the day when Sky reaches 50% is a long way away.

Not exactly true.....you see where "tapped" boxes are all the rage.So much so there is almost twice as many people I know with hooky boxes than those who pay for the legit.
Those viewers are not counted in your surveys...have a think about that ya baldy git.

Ok, to put some perspective on proceedings. I think there's no need to call anyone names during a proper discussion, it there's tit for tat piss taking it's a different matter.

I called Fluff a "Twat" for asking the most stupid question known to man on an interview thread, I also backed it up with I hope a reasoned response.

What I'm trying to say in a long winded way is there's no need for random insults as they only detract from the proper points being made.

There's a stark choice here, either leave the random and totally unnecessary insults out and allow the place to grow. Get more first hand input from people within the game and new members wanting to read and contribute or go the way of somwhere I'm no longer associated with.
