Are tourcard holders allowed to play the womens series? That qualifies for both Ally and GS, so that might be a risk
Same rules as dev tour. So top 64 not allowed.
Was top 32 until this year.
Don't engage Smithy please ffs!!!!!!!!
It was a reasonable question so I answered.
Please dont engage with people who make unreasonable/childish requests

Glad she would accept it. Shame that the top 64 can’t play Womens series. Utterly stupid that becuase your good you get punished. Same as the players that banned from the dev tour.
Would mean she gets extra chances of getting a ticket for Ally Pally. You could perhaps allow that, but then not take those ranking points from Ally Pally (and GS), as she might end up 64th (keeping her card), kicking somebody out, solely because she had an extra (easy) chance to qualfiy for a high ranking tournament.

She can do what she's doing but she's likely reached the pinnacle in context of what is currently available to her. How many WDF worlds or women series events does she need? It's not as though continuing to win those will further her profile.
If she earns a card, she is probably good enough to cause a few upsets with a deeper run here or there. She can put the numbers up - it's more consistency and mental aspects that let her down.
Plus, if able to, she is going to have to give to a go at some point. Might as well do it as soon as possible so biggest chance to learn and possibly come back stronger. She could feasibly win/lose a card a couple of times and still be under 30 / prime.

In this years womens tour she has an average of 87.17 over 59 games, that would make her #138 on the Protour... That doesnt seem a good idea...
Edit: well one spot up, because she is already on it with an 94 average over 7 games

90.66 over 69 (hahahahahaha) games, that would make her #75 on the Protour. So a big chunk better, and if she can get the 15K yearly from the Worlds thru the Womens Series it gets a lot better. Hmmm

It will be interesting to see what happens once she becomes #64, does her womens ranking get cleared, or is she still qualified (if she was by then) thru it.

Women's tour average is distorted downwards because she throws more darts in bad legs.

Doesn't get cleared. She just cant play any more games.
See 2024 Dev Tour, where Van Veen had to stop playing during the year:

Personally think that would be the wrong choice.
Currently she can get plenty of no effort paydays along with a guarenteed 25k at the end of the year while not getting burned out and still enjoying darts.
If she switches she will have to put a huge amount of effort in to probably not get the same financial reward, and if as is likely she were to not retain her card for all that effort I could forsee her falling out of love with the game.
I dont think theres any chance she can achieve real success by breaking into the top 32, so why take such an awful risk when it could do such damage to you both financially and to your enjoyment.
Yeah unsure about the card, Ally Pally I understand as she might get some exebitions out of it if she does well. Are tourcard holders allowed to play the womens series? That qualifies for both Ally and GS, so that might be a risk
Greaves turned 21 in January, before the start of the season. If she got a card next year she'd still have 2 years of Dev Tour eligibility. So it would be a _good_ time to take the card as she'd be able to play PCs, DTs and WS.
If she reaches the Top 64, she can't play DT or WS, but then it'd imply she's playing well enough to keep her card, and would be playing a reasonable number of other PDC games.
If she got to the top 64, and then dropped out, she'd always at least get to play WS to give herself some extra games and a more comfortable environment to play in.

Think she meant becoming a better player. But not sure when it was, but didnt she was sometimes a bit scared to play or something like that? WDF probably the better place to fix that. Also having 3 WCs on your name probably does improve the self confidence. Plus it does gets her exebitions gigs more easier
