I don't know the correct number of cards to be granted to Challenge Tour, but I think it should be more than 2. Nothing excessive though, 4 or 5? The cream will rise to the top eventually though

I would like 4. Other types of players will suffer excessively if it goes too high. It's extremely important not to punish players who lose their card by locking them out for a year, plus not everyone can commit to the whole challenge tour.

The 2 tour cards spots are necessary as an incentive to play the development tour. Without that incentive there, I think we'd see less players on it.

Might as well do away with Q School if you’re going to give freebies down the list of the other tours, there are barely enough to justify it now anyway.

They used to offer a card to the Nordic/Baltic tour, but Viljanen rarely used it and they stopped. None of the top players in the regional tours would disgrace themselves on the main tour, but it's a question of whether they'd use the tour card obviously

The Yanks in Milton Keynes already have it hard enough, we shouldn't make it significantly harder for them in order to satisfy British or Dutch jobbers

It's tough shit if you happen to come from nowhere and end up finishing 3rd on the Challenge Tour, but CT high-flyers at least get top-up spaces on the ProTour, a 1 year card if you will
