It's a mystery why an event for winners ignores winners

IIRC Porter stated years ago that the floor qualifiers exist to give TC holders more opportunities to qualify for TV events. In turn, giving the TC more value.

Of course, I don't think that approach is appropriate for a Grand Slam event that is meant to showcase PDC event winners over the full year.

I'm cool with a floor qualifier to fill up the numbers if necessary (which it would have been in every other year apart from last year and 2019 when every man and his dog won a PDC event), but 8 floor warriors is insane, a tour card has been steadily increasing in value that I don't think it's necessary

When life gives you lemons...stink up a PDC major

And boy did he stink up the Slam, lost all 6 games including to BDO superstars Gary Robson and Ross Montgomery lol
