I don't know if this was ever mentioned on here.

The 2022/23 Cazoo World Darts Championship featured the launch of heritage numbers to represent the 440 players who have previously competed in the PDC’s flagship tournament.

Sportradar’s Steve Morgan has worked through the tournament’s record-books to determine the order in which all previous competitors have played in the tournament, and allocated heritage numbers accordingly.
