It's true, John Taylor the ex Indoor Bowls champion has annouced his retirement from the game. On going back problems have affected his game of late and would appear to be behind his decision to retire from the game.

Considering how you have to repeatably be bending over to deliver the bowl, it's surprising how many older people play the game. Maybe because there half way into the action before they even start ?
