I'm in a calm place which is good and thinking about the funeral that's to come.

I think Eulogy time should be about mum's and our memories and not read by a priest. The funniest thing we can all remember and memories we'll all share.

I miss my best mate and I really appreciate the comments, PM's and texts. I'm so lucky to have had 50 Christmasses with two parents and I also know he'll never have to fight again. It's now to us to look after our mum and we will

aye you are right there mate, focus upon the happy times and the good life and achievements and celebrate them rather than lament his passing.

Haven't been about much lately, how's Betty? has she managed to have a couple of sly Sherrys for the festive period?

She's recovering mate but not really drinking at the moment. Her next appointment's tomorrow to find out what happens next
