Fantasy Worlds 2021
Hey guys.
Today I've been working on making a players list and comparing not only their FDI scores but also their earnings this year, recent form and bookies odds. I'm working on prizes now so I thought I might as well.
Prizes will come either today after the PDPA qualifier or tomorrow.
Here's the rules:
- Pick 11 players for your squad. Not 10 or 12, 11. Not to be nitpicky but I just want to remind you, since bojeru won the Fantasy 2020 with a 10-man squad (which tbh is quite the achievement)
- You get $100M to create your team. I'll tell you when you're over the limit.
- You can send in your teams up until the moment the first match starts. That'll be 6pm UK time December 15 (most likely)
Here's the scoring:
Scoring visits with 3 intended trebles or a bullseye: 5 points
Ton-plus finishes are worth the amount of points they are above 100. So no, 100 is not a ton-plus finish in my book.
9-dart leg = 100 points for the leg.
Match wins for rounds 1 and 2 are worth 20 points. After that, points double with each round. So winning the Last 32 is 40 points total, Last 16 = 80 points total, up to winning the Worlds which is 640 points.
You have to select a Wild Card for your team. To make this interesting and not have everyone pick MvG, Price or Wright, your Wild Card must be less than $10M. Your Wild Card will score double points for the entire tournament.
Don't worry if the scoring is confusing to you, my spreadsheets got it all covered, and in the end it's still the best performers that win you the most points.
I haven't asked M H for prizes yet or anything but we'll see how this goes.

Just me changing my prediction but not editing as an example of how to make me aware you changed your prediction.
I'll check everything just in case though.
