Now this is something I doubt you will see often, but I’m with Senna here. Fordham was not a better player than Hankey. Hankeys 2000 title was in a field arguable better than the PDC field or at least comparable.
How did Fordham play better darts than Hankey?
You said he was giving Taylor a game? Hankey actually BEAT Taylor at the GSOD
I know you don’t like Hankey, but I think it’s clouding your judgement a bit.
A meaningless best of 9 proves fuck all and is irrelevant In this discussion
I believe andy was better than him and that's that
I'd rank him above Walton, david, wallace but not Fordham
Dislike has fuck all to do with it.
I think fordham was a better player and that's it
Given that you allow personal preference to Influence your every post your in a poor position to be pointing fingers

Ted's performance in the semi-final against Mason was very impressive. Beyond that game his performances that year were solid, nothing more.HalloweenJack wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 9:50 pm I’d have to look at the stats as I’ll be honest I can only recall Fordham in the final. Didn’t Ted hit a record. Inner of 180s in 2000 and blasted Baxter away in 46 minutes in the final. Ted also had one of the best throwing actions ever, but that’s another debate.
Surprisingly Ted and Andy only ever played 2 competitive games against each other, winning 1 a piece.
If he played Taylor 10 times that year, he'd have been swallowed up 8 or 9 times.

Yes, they're not strawman arguments.HalloweenJack wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 9:54 pmDo people actually really say this stuff though?
- The "Walton would have beaten Taylor in 2001" argument have been around for years. Forum user Meethefeebles has used it a few times.
- Oche has argued in the past that Hankey would have beaten Taylor in 2000.
- Someone argued on Twitter a year or so ago that Taylor was scared to play Wallace in 1997.
- Nicco argued a while back that Burnett was the best player in the world in the mid-1990s.

All they had to do was follow barneys example and switch to challenge him

This sounds like the same person that I argued on a YouTube comment section recently who described Wayne Warren as a "darts legend" and Jim Williams as "another beast from the BDO".sennafan24 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 9:59 pmYes, they're not strawman arguments.HalloweenJack wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 9:54 pmDo people actually really say this stuff though?

Don't forget that Taylor and RVB played 7 times in cross-code events in 2005. Taylor won 6 of those meetings.Randall wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 10:05 pm All they had to do was follow barneys example and switch to challenge him

Without Taylor's dip in form between the summer of 2006 and the winter of 2007, the Taylor vs RVB rivalry would have been insanely one-sided.

Beat walton and david at the same event even though he was nowhere near his best
The only cogent arguement is gando beating him in 07 which was reversed shortly afterwards in wolves.
All this shit about one of performances at lakeside can just get to fuck.
I've heard idiits trot it out about david ffs.

As late as 2018 many on the BDO fanatics Facebook page were arguing that Duzza was a better champion than Cross.
That argument may seem feasible now, but it wasn't back then. The version of Cross that beat Taylor in the 2018 World Final would have thrashed the version of Duzza that won Lakeside that year.

It was very easy at those times as they could make any bullshit claim they wanted knowing wouldn't be put to the test.sennafan24 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 10:12 pmAs late as 2018 many on the BDO fanatics Facebook page were arguing that Duzza was a better champion than Cross.

Why does it matter which account he posts from (i assume they were all banned), and why "sadly"? If forums were full of people who just blindly agreed with you they would be very boring places.Randall wrote:Sadly fakewade is back but not prepared to post from any of his original accountssennafan24 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 10:16 pmFanny is a good lad and doesn't believe most of what he posts.
