Yeah that's true. The two i've listed had those players play pretty much their regular game against them. Lewis had very little thrown at him in 2012 apart from Wade. Outside of being sloppy in the first round it was pretty much a cruise to the title on his B game. Now if you actually cheated to win a title or some of sour opponents pulled out and you got multiple byes in a tournament, I could perhaps see the point. But in normal circumstances, it doesn't make sense. No win is less deserved because your opponent missed match darts or whatever.
