Wade is the only player who can win TV titles in normal circumstances. Price and Wright shouldn't be so sure of themselves.

^this. And he is right. We all slag sky and the pundits creaming over players who are the flavour of the month and have won fuck all of note. You only have to look at them bigging up the likes of Smith, Chizzy and now Devon. Established major winners in Wade, Cross and Asp don’t get bulled up as much. I blame Wade himself a bit for his inconsistency but they only ever talk him up if he reaches the latter end of a tournament.tungsten tossers wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 6:20 pm I vaguely remember Wade moaning about lack of respect for what he has achieved, a couple of years back in an interview or pre match chat on Sky. It was when he had dropped down the rankings and was having a very lean spell and was probably asked a fucking stupid question, something that Sky excel at..He had a dig about Sky bigging up players that had won fuck all basically
Give me a Wade over a shitting bricks Smith any day

I still think that the absence of a live crowd has made little difference.
However, would the likes of Dimi, Dirk, Duzza, and a struggling Rob Cross reached the finals of TV events 5 years ago? Almost certainly not.
The depth of the field is arguably stronger than ever, but the top-end of the game isn't what it once was.

I think it's those three and possibly Cullen he was referring to.vizIIsto wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 6:09 pmWith 'the three D's' I wasn't even including Duzza.HalloweenJack wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 6:06 pmDuzza has been consistent since he came to the PDC and was top of the league prior to lockdown in the U.K.
Duzza is also a big Wade fan and is similar to him playing wise. I don’t think Wade was referring to him, but only James will know.
Devon has won a stage title, it’s not a major/Premier event.
It's Dirk, Devon and Dimi.
