Gregory and King to hopefully be added soon. Not that they are my 7th place pick, but still.

Why would either be in the top 20?

This Beaton and Burnett have achieved more than King and Gregory did

Those 2 might just scrape in right at the bottom of the 20.

Gregory has been a top level player for over a decade who despite not having won much has undoubtedly always been in contention to do so.
King has been relevant for over 25 years now to an extent greater than that of aforementioned Stevie B. Although not having won that many important titles, like Gregory and probably even moreso, there has not been a tournament where he hasn't had a great run, often multiple times.

And how exactly is Part in contention for the top 10?
Or Lewis even?

Merv King should be ranked above of Adi Lewis.

Part won three world titles. And reached a few finals in a time that was pretty abysmal for darts (2002-2005, no one remembers those years). End of achievement list.
Or do you want me to add his 2018 UK Open fluke to that?

Also I've explained before my reasons why Part's three world titles are less impressive than any other title apart from his 2003 title which he deserved because Taylor was inferior that day (and even then he only won 7-6).

Michael Smith has had great runs but never won a big one. Whilst Mike Gregory was one of the top players in the world for a time, I never considered him for top 20. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think you even mention Cliff Lazarenko 🤯
