Probably only people on this forum. Not the wider consensus. But everybody is entitled to an opinion, it’s just I have been called a contrarian yet the opinion on Barney for some on here is just that.

I'll have to go Gando.
He's won nearly everything there is in the PDC and had more PDC World Titles than RVB.

I mentioned it before, the thing with Barney is how highly people rate his 4 BDO titles.

Who gives a shit about what other polls say. Usually in those you see loads of people voting, most of whom are just casuals, who of course admire Barney. His impact on darts is huge which influences a lot of opinions. Quality wise Gando is just better.

Anderson has won more PDC World titles, a Matchplay title, is ahead 23-19 in head to head meetings with Headshaker, and is 3rd all-time in terms of most wins on the Pro Tour. Anderson has also won the PL twice, whereas Headshaker only won it once.

Headshaker might have been better from 2001-2010, but Anderson has been better ever since and has had more success at the highest level. Thriving in the PDC in the 2010s is far more impressive than thriving in the BDO in the late 90s and mid-2000s.

Their opinion also can be swayed by those factors. You are free to think Barney is top 5 and I don't see anything wrong with that but that doesn't invalidate our opinions whatsoever. Just because it's a popular opinion that doesn't make it right at all. I've heard these experts commentating enough, they are talking a lot of crap.
