He's not top 4 based on ability and achievements. If you factored in impact, it's a different matter.
+1

His ability is also massively overrated.

Top 10? Yes.

Top 5? Probably not.

Tied at 9 each
Will leave this to run until tomorrow night
Unless there is a massive shift this will decide 2 and 3 and we will move onto number 4.

Barney and lowe were always going to be lower in the pecking order than phil, eric and mvg
No shame in it

Who are going to be your next players in the poll? Priestley and Gary maybe?

His legend massively transcends the 90s and beyond obviously but how often did you actually see him play? I never saw him.

Only the very end of his career. Thankfully the internet exists, so I have since educated myself about him and his career.

Still, he's underrated compared to Van Goblin and Headshaker.

For now, its Bristow, no doubt, but Baldfish have a good chance to overtake him.

Bristow second for me, bettered only by the monster he helped create.
the first Lakeshite I remember watching was 1983, and apart from oddities like Deller winning most memories of those years concentrate around Bristow and Lowe

Jocky Wilson. Is he most famous for being a darts player or appearing on top of the pops. I was a mere kid when that incident happened.
As for Jockey, he had possibly the worst throwing action of any top level dart player but managed to win 2 world titles.

How he hit anything under pressure is a miracle but no recollection of 80s darts is possible without mentioning him
