The same James Wade who is the third most successful player in PDC history.
The same James Wade whos only decent win in a final was against fatpot 10 years ago. All the rest were wins against serial fuckups.

Fact is, Smith belongs with the garbage like Whitlock, Newton, King, and Jenkins before him. Chisnall is marginally better.
One of his 9 Premier event wins was against Taylor in the Champions league or whatever it was called.
Fact is, it doesn’t matter who he beat he still has the titles and that is all that matters.
He could have beaten me or you in the final but his name would still be on the trophy.

Pointing to the Barnsley indoor league is a bit of a reach. I wont deny he is the greatest cleaner uperer of all time, and deserves major credit for being so consiatant.

I would like to see him beat someone decent in a big tv final before giving him any more plaudits though.

Amyway what do you think of your own question? Chisnall or Smith?

The match would never end as neither would be able to hit the winning double! If one has to win i'd guess Chizzy just banana skins over the line hitting the winning double in the very corner of the bed.

I haven’t actually answered my own question. At a push I would say Smith as he is a better player.

Taylor's 1990 World Championship carries the same value as Wayne Warren's World Championship.

They won the same title, and that is all that matters.

So to cut through your childishness, are you saying that James Wades premier event titles are devalued because in most he didn’t beat a so called elite player. Remembering that for a time he was the second best player in the world.

I wasn't devaluing Wade's achievements or ability. I was poking holes in your argument.

By your logic, Duzza' 3 Lakeside titles hold the same value as Lowe's 3 Lakeside titles. And Kist's Lakeside title holds the same value as Priestley's.

Eh? I’ve never said that. My point was referencing Wades 9 Premier event titles ( 3rd most successful PDC player) Emulifier made reference that most of them were not against the elite eg Taylor.
That’s not Wades fault, he has beat who he has beaten and his wins have the same value as anyone’s ( In PDC events) absolutely no reference at all to the BDO.

The same logic could be used with BDO event winners.

Besides, the Premier League titles that MVG won carry more value than the one Duzza just win. MVG played better and beat stronger competition.
