Yet the PDC, Sky and the players do which is what counts rather than a few on here.Emulsfier wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 10:27 pmNo one with a functioning brain cell thinks its in the top 5.HalloweenJack wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 10:22 pmOnly a few on here consider the third biggest title in darts not a major![]()

Come back when he wins a ranking title.
The quest continues.
You know what, I can't even post that for a rofl. That lack of grace makes my skin crawl but it won't stop everyone.

Players want cash, pdc want to big up their most marketable product, and Mardle is a brainlet. Thats all it is.HalloweenJack wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 10:31 pmYet the PDC, Sky and the players do which is what counts rather than a few on here.Emulsfier wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 10:27 pmNo one with a functioning brain cell thinks its in the top 5.HalloweenJack wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 10:22 pmOnly a few on here consider the third biggest title in darts not a major![]()

The lack of grace is coming from the Duzza knockers on this site.

Funny. Top 5 title minimum. Proclaimed triple crown from the pdc themselvesEmulsfier wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 10:27 pmNo one with a functioning brain cell thinks its in the top 5.HalloweenJack wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 10:22 pmOnly a few on here consider the third biggest title in darts not a major![]()

It goes for 16 weeks and pays 250k to the winner.
Like it or not, it's the 2nd most sought after Title in the PDC.
It is possible to argue the Matchplay and Grand Prix edge it due to Prestige and History, but no way it's lower than 4th.

It never sits with any particular fondness in my sad, weary heart but I personally do rate the PL title highly.
The league phase winner is my god for a year, which is a problem at the moment admittedly.

I would agree 100%.Randall wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 8:11 amIts certainly no higher than 4 eitherCaptain Hobo wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 8:09 amIt goes for 16 weeks and pays 250k to the winner.

To me while I would class it as a PDC major, it sits miles behind the World Championship and Matchplay. I also would definitely put the World GP and GSOD above it as well.
I would rate is as 5th in importance to me as a darts fan, and i think a lot of fans would agree it is not in top 3 majors.
However the other thing that always has bugged me about the PL is that it even features play off's in first place. It is a bloody league title that drags on for months, and the title should just automatically go to the winner of the league.
Imagine in the football PL if you had Liverpool winning league title like last year by 20 odd points, but then having to play a a S/F & Final play off where they lose 1-0 to team that finished 4th and 35 pts behind them. I think it is for this reason that i have never rated the PL as high as some of other majors.
Having said all that well done to Duzza, as he was the best layer throughout the league phase and deserves the title.
