Amazing achievement by Aspinall.

you may know i like DImitri but it's hard to imagine that he'll follow up a first big title with an immediate PL Final the following year. This is young MVG grade stuff by Asp really.

Durrant v Aspinall then. Wow.
Hands up, who had that as a final at the start of the year?
was just about to post that, don't think anyone would have predicted this at the start of the tournament! Wright will never win the PL now I reckon

Well Aspinall was the better player once the fourth leg ended. He deserved that. Peter missed too many important doubles. It will be a fascinating unexpected final. Looking forward to it. 10 - 7 Aspinall

Those last two rounds of the PL he played like a man possessed. Humiliated Duzza on the last night.
2020 World Grand Prix Lucky Dip winner!
2x 2019 Q-School Lucky Dip winner!

Both as valuable as the Lakeside piss pot!

This is only his second time in the play-offs after the agony of missing all those darts in that infamous final...think it's fair to say this isn't his event. Will be disappointed to have only won the Masters, probably the most tinpot TV title of this year, since the Worlds

I can see the young Belgian lad dancing his way to a successful season, but Aspinall is something else

Excluding the first edition of each PDC "major", have we had that happen before? The only case I can think of with any PDC TV tournament is the 2017 Auckland Darts Masters where Kando beat Cadby: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_Auck ... ts_Masters
Surely never. Oh, Barney at some point in 2006 maybe...? Barrie Bates in that UK OPen final?

Sky's lack of imagination during little intervals is rubbish. Compare to ITV.

That 113 was class. John Lowe would have approved.
