Tour card race 2020
With Dirk completing the get in the top 64 after a year trick i think its time to look at who we might be losing come new years day.

With ward resigning his TC, it will probobly be rank 65 the cut off.
Lots of the garbage in line to be cleaned out. Bates, Gray, Clark, Kantele, Shepard, Murnan and Robinson should all be safely disposed of. A good chance to bin Stevenson, RJR Schindler and Wilson if we are lucky.
The names in big trouble who at least a few will be sad about are Thornton Dekker, Edgar and Cheato. Also with no money at all coming in you have to worry for KAndo.
Heta will almost certainly complete the top 64 trick too with his GSoD money plus a WC last 96 win.

Re: Tour card race 2020
Hard to say how much will be needed to keep the tour card, given the changes to the schedule and with players (Ward, and you'd think KAndo will resign their cards). You'd think Razma and above are safe (probably Mansell given the vast majority of players in his vicinity have no provisional money coming in)

Re: Tour card race 2020
Maybe they'll be a little too far back, but Heta, Jason Lowe, Kleermaker and Hinges are all currenly on course for the Worlds, Euros and Players, a lot of earning potential there. Them aside, between Mansell in 55th and Hinges in 74th, there's only Benito, Baker and Kuivenhoven in the Worlds, and they're all very precarious. A lot of nervous jobbers around...Emulsfier wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 8:14 pm With Dirk completing the get in the top 64 after a year trick i think its time to look at who we might be losing come new years day.

How many below the 64 who aren't in their 1st year lose a tour card?

I more mean how is it worked out, is it if you're outside the top 64 after 2 years you lose your card?Emulsfier wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 9:02 pmIf you mean how many currently provisionally then its about 30.TheMalteseDart wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 8:57 pm How many below the 64 who aren't in their 1st year lose a tour card?

Correct, unless there are card resignations in the top 64, then it moves down. Stevenson benefited from the postbox resigning last year. He was 65th.TheMalteseDart wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 9:09 pmI more mean how is it worked out, is it if you're outside the top 64 after 2 years you lose your card?Emulsfier wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 9:02 pmIf you mean how many currently provisionally then its about 30.TheMalteseDart wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 8:57 pm How many below the 64 who aren't in their 1st year lose a tour card?

Re: Tour card race 2020
Slightly off topic, but Whitlock is now on course to remain in the top 20 after the Worlds, and will be in the top 16 picture if he beats Dirk, whereas before he was due to plummet to the fringes of the top 32. Sliding doors moment...

I do like these. Thanks to Erik. A few old-timers set for a flushing (in red). Can Mitchell do a Ratajski from down there? No.

Can't say I'll miss any of the lads in red apart from Thornton and even that would be at a push. Schindler in the special reprieve slot at the moment.Rogg wrote: ↑Tue Oct 13, 2020 9:05 am I do like these. Thanks to Erik. A few old-timers set for a flushing (in red).
