Your comps are great, they're always fun to follow even though I'm usually not doing well. Sorry that I've acted strangely in the past, I'm glad we settled things. Me and my handy spreadsheet will gladly take over for the rest of this year!Safc wrote: ↑Fri Oct 09, 2020 5:12 pm Right lads I've decided after a discussion with Viz that he will take over the running of this as he is all set with spreadsheets.

Re: Fantasy Darts 2020 - Discussion Thread
Hello folks!
I didn't have time to make a stat update yesterday evening bcuz it was getting pretty late, but here are some stats.
There are a bunch of you who still have multiple players left in the tournament, but Gunga Din leads the stats here as they have 4 of their players in the quarter-finals. That means there's a lot of room to overtake a few others on the way!
On average, we've already scored almost 500 points. Congrats to all the players who've surpassed the 500 mark!
Rogg, cannibal and Safc have done excellent since the transfer window. The gap between third-placed Safc (780) and fourth-placed JH-01 (690) in that category is almost 100 points.
Alright, on to the more important stuff: the top of the leaderboard. Rogg has overtaken Jimmi and bojeru for third place, meaning bojeru is now out of the prizes. Since Rogg has one more player left in the tournament than TheGoose, and the gap is only 40 points, there's a great chance he'll go to second place too!
bojeru is still somewhat hanging on to the top four spots, but after that there's quite a gap. Slasher, in 6th place, is a massive 365 points separated from the top four. There are still a few TV tournaments left to play though, so who knows!

Thanks safc. And welcome Viz. You think you had it bad before...lol. Always good to have other new people to contribute to the comps and spread the workload around.

Thanks for all these nice comments, I'm glad I can help out.
I hope I can show I'm trying my hardest to be nice and honest to you and want to make people share a laugh here, whether it's because of my own humiliation or not. I've been in arguments like the ones we've had here many times before and I feel like I'm slowly starting to care less, which I suppose is a good thing. The internet is just very toxic in general, I guess.
Some random stats:
Rogg and Cooking with Sanchez are the only two players who can still have a final with two players from their squad. Price needs to beat Chisnall, and then either Whitlock or Duijvenbode completes the double.
Gunga Din has the second best score in the WGP so far, which I consider a surprise. He initially only had 4 players starting, but because of JdZ being called up last-minute, they had the most players of their squad in the QFs, which explains their success.
Five players are already done for the WGP. They're all not too high up though, and they won't lose many extra spots either unless Price takes the title, so it's only a minor leak.
Before the second transfer window, Barney Army was ahead of cannibal. Now, cannibal is 12 spots higher than Barney Army. I guess that's what you get for supporting Headshaker!

Barney Army will have the last laugh when Raymond comes through Q-School in heroic fashion...or maybe not!vizIIsto wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 2:45 pm Thanks for all these nice comments, I'm glad I can help out.

Just relax and dont take it too seriously. It is just banter..ok there may be one or two who genuinely hate in their heart. But who cares it is just words and do you really know them and do they really know you? You have nothing to prove. Before I went full on ranting cannibal I had a cunt and his friends try to dox me: not that I ever hid who I was. But I had veiled threats against me locally. All this when I actually was a much nicer Cannibal. So I just went to trolling them and having a laugh and I didnt care about what they said because the people who knew me knew I was fucking with them. Funny thing was the assholes when I saw them in person acted like the nicest people. I treated them with respect in returning a greeting but that was it.vizIIsto wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 2:45 pm Thanks for all these nice comments, I'm glad I can help out.

Re: Fantasy Darts 2020 - Discussion Thread

The final is coming up, and the full results are almost in for this week's gameplay. Here's a few stats.
Rogg is the only person who has both Tumor and Divingboard in his team, and therefore he is the big winner of the WGP as he has the highest score and can't be caught. This also means Rogg has officially jumped from fifth to second, like I predicted. Bonus points for me!
The highest-placed participant without either of the two finalists is Randall, and for that he might lose a few more spots to people who picked Price just below him.
Back to the top of the leaderboard, Slasher has gained a few spots and might overtake Jimmi if Price does better than Van Duijvenbode in the final, giving him a precious top 4 spot!
And I guess I should mention the tragedy of long-forgotten Jock mccallum, who only scored 40 points this WGP as Wright, Durrant and Aspinall all failed miserably. Press F to pay respects guys!

Congrats to everyone for doing so well this tournament. Just a quick stat update as it's getting kinda late.
You guys scored about 850 points on average. That means you, Cinnamon Bun, were the most average player this tournament.
Rogg came out on top with 1435 as he made a vitally important jump to second place. Other big gainers are peshark (+5), cannibal (+6) and Gunga Din (+7)
Dirk van Duijvenbode was obviously the best pick for his price this round, but other great picks were Petersen, Whitlock and Chisnall, as well as victor Price.
Cheers lads. Let's get ready for the next few tournaments, starting with the Euro Tour event this weekend!

Just when I thought it would be a good time to swap out de Zwaan for Ratajski...
