Had a quick practice myself - struggling to reach the heights of my G game. Looks like a protracted draw is on the cards. Probably have to go nearest the bull after almost giving up the will to live as we both struggle to hit double 1!

The Guiness is cheap in the pub I got planned mate. Seriously though I was really pleased with my practice, still a few flyers but not as many as usual.

Calling Andy A

Had another go yesterday evening and I may well have set a new personal best for hitting the treble 5. Managed a couple of sub 20 dart legs so it wasn't all bad but certainly not consistent.

Good news about the Guinness prices!

I was in the mid 20's with a couple of legs in the low 30's but didn't get any lower mate.

Sounds like it will a good afternoon with some close games then.

When you're playing for real 22, 23 or 24 darts are all as good as each other In my book. As much as it's nice to finish with the first dart you throw you still win if it's the 3rd and that's what counts!

Looking forward to it mate and yes it don't matter which dart you hit the double with as long as you hit the bugger. Far easier said than done at times!

Don't worry we'll both be so embarrassed about our standard of play that we'll not post a word about it ever again after next Saturday!

Ha ha, I fear you may be correct mate. Practice is far different to a proper game

Proper games tend to be a higher standard than practice for me, i know some may say their game is of a higher standard in practice because of no pressure but i'm the opposite, i need to know if i dont stay focussed i'll lose or my mind tends to wander to cookies, fluffy kittens that sort of thing.

You two should have a wager of some kind (it matters more when there's ***** on it.)
Andy's forfeit should be he has to post at least once a week.

As Andy's natural standard is higher than mine I doubt he's in any danger of losing Frog. I'll certainly do my best to push him all the way though

Sounds like you're confident .... practising the likely double required for most of the legs.

I'm not sure I'd be able to get back up again if I had to do that. Especially if the Guinness is cheap!
